A green society entrance is not just about looks, it is about keeping things manageable. Many buildings struggle because they choose high-maintenance plants that cannot survive Mumbai’s heat or lack of daily care. I focus on hardy options like Areca Palms or Ficus, set in proper drainage planters, so you get that lush, full look without needing a full-time gardener on your payroll.
Green spaces in Mumbai are rare, but your office or society does not have to be a concrete jungle. Making a space hara bhara (lush green) is my full-time job. Whether you are managing a corporate office reception or a residential society lobby, the main challenge is always the same: how to keep it alive without paying for daily, heavy maintenance.
I suggest sturdy, air-purifying plants that thrive in our city's climate. For entrances, we use long planters with hardy Areca Palms or Ficus. These create a clean, green border that hides unsightly walls and makes the space feel cooler and more welcoming.
If you do not have floor space, that is where my vertical garden setup comes in. We install living green walls using UV-stabilized pots and drip irrigation, meaning you get the benefit of nature without sacrificing square footage.
My process is simple:
- I visit your site to check light and wind conditions.
- We pick plants that actually survive in that specific spot (no fake promises about delicate flowers in dark corners).
- We install them with proper drainage and soil mixes so they do not die in two weeks.
I do not just dump pots and leave. I provide the gyaan (tips) you need to keep them healthy. If you need someone to look after the maintenance, I handle that too. We cover regular pruning, pest control, and repotting. Let us make your building stand out.
