Urban Balcony & Terrace Design Ideas for Mumbai Homes

Mumbai space is valuable, and often the balcony is the only patch of open air you have. We treat these areas not as storage zones, but as private getaways. Our approach prioritizes functionality without sacrificing aesthetics.

Our Technical Approach

We focus on materials that last. For flooring, we typically recommend high-density artificial grass (25mm to 35mm) or interlocking WPC deck tiles. These options are water-resistant and provide a clean, mud-free surface. For walls, we install vertical garden grids or shelving that maximize your green space without eating into your precious floor area.

Designing for your Needs

Whether you want a resort-like lounge or a productive corner, we adapt the layout to your lifestyle:

• For Relaxing: We install comfortable, weather-proof seating, often utilizing bench designs with built-in storage to keep your items hidden but accessible.
• For Privacy & Greenery: We use a mix of hanging planters, vertical gardens, and even sliding nets if you require protection from birds or need safety for pets.
• For Renters: We understand the limitations of rental homes. Every element we install, from the flooring to the light fixtures, is designed to be landlord-approved. You can remove our installations when you move out without damaging the underlying structure.

The Process

We begin with a site visit to understand your space and sunlight levels. Once we agree on the plan, our team handles the heavy lifting. We repaint existing grills, install lighting, and set up your new furniture. The illustrated 10-day makeover is a project example, not a guaranteed turnaround for every balcony. You do not need to worry about sourcing materials or finding carpenters; we manage the execution from start to finish.
