When you visit our shop, you see the actual material, not just a swatch. Whether you need a specific wool blend for a winter suit or breathable cotton for a kurta, you can feel the quality before we start stitching. We stock fabrics suitable for everything from daily office wear to wedding outfits, and you are welcome to bring your own design references to discuss how a specific fabric will look when stitched.
Our shop in Chakkarpur acts as a library of drapes. Since 1991, we have maintained a collection that focuses on utility and longevity. You walk in, we talk about the occasion, and we match the fabric to the requirement. Formal trousers need a certain weight and blend for the pleats to hold, while kurtas require softer, lighter weaves. We stock fabrics that are reliable because if the base material is poor, even the best tailoring cannot save the look.
When you visit, we can discuss the fabric composition, thread count, and how it will behave once stitched. As we say, Kapda kontahi aso, shilai phakta aamchich (Whatever the cloth, the stitching is only ours). This means that regardless of the material you choose, the fit is guaranteed to be our standard. If you are too busy to visit Chakkarpur, our team does home visits across Gurugram for measurements. However, for picking fabrics, we always suggest visiting the store to see the true texture and color under natural light. We carry options for heavy sherwanis, daily formal shirts, and everything in between.
