Spiti Valley Road Trips and Himalayan Adventures
From the dreamy blue waters of Chandratal to the snowy roads of Spiti, our road trips are about finding the vibe, not just the views. Ditch the network and join the crew.
Oye sun, Spiti chalega kya? This is your sign to join my 9-day full power road trip. We'll start from Shimla and hit Kaza's cafes, Tabo's ancient monastery, and the dreamy blue water of Chandratal Lake. It's a journey with a bit of thand, a lot of madness, and a vibe you won't forget.
This is what it feels like when Spiti is covered in a blanket of snow. This video captures the feeling of driving through a white wonderland, with views of the snow-dusted Key Monastery and the quiet, winding roads. Life just tastes better here.
They call Chandratal the "Moon Lake," and when you see it, you'll know why. This is a shot of its crystal-clear blue water against the backdrop of the Himalayas. It's a view that makes you forget everything else.
Sometimes the best views are from the roof of our Tempo Traveller. This is what my Himalayan road trips are all about: good music, great company, and making memories on the open road. This selfie captures the pure joy of a Spiti adventure.
An epic sunset over the Key Monastery in Spiti. The sky just explodes with color. This is one of those moments on the trip where you just stand in awe of the beauty of the Himalayas.
Nothing beats hearing it straight from the crew. This was a group of school friends on their first trip with me, and their experience says it all. Having a great trip captain and well-planned stays makes all the difference on a Spiti road trip.
A classic moment with the group at Chandratal Lake. The energy, the views, the new friends. This picture captures the vibe perfectly. So, what are you waiting for? Toh book karlo fir.
About Featured
You won’t find fake luxury here. We roll in a Tempo Traveller because that’s where the real bonding happens. Whether it’s the high-altitude cold of a Spiti winter or the summer chill by Chandratal lake, we keep it raw. Our trip captains handle the oxygen cylinders and the permits while you focus on the views. Expect zero network, heavy music playlists, and new friends who become family by day three.
Spiti, Your Way
Our 9-day Spiti Valley circuit is designed for people who actually want to travel, not just tick boxes off a list. We start from Shimla, winding through the Kinnaur valley before hitting Kaza. You get to explore ancient monasteries like Tabo and Key, and yes, we camp by Chandratal Lake whenever the road permits.
Summer vs. Winter
- Summer Spiti: This is the classic circuit. It’s about sunny afternoons in Kaza cafes, vibrant green landscapes, and comfortable homestays. It is perfect if you want the full experience without fighting sub-zero temperatures.
- Winter Spiti: This is for the serious travelers. We are talking -20°C, frozen rivers, and snow-dusted monasteries. We use electric blankets and Bukharis (traditional heaters) to keep you warm, but be prepared for dry toilets and extreme cold. It is a technical expedition, not a casual holiday.
The Logistics
We don't believe in five-star hotels because they don't exist in the remote Himalayas anyway. We stay in traditional Spitian homestays and guesthouses. This supports the local economy and gives you a real look at how people live at 14,000 feet. We provide 16 meals on the 9-day trip, mostly fresh Vegetarian North Indian food, and we always carry oxygen cylinders and first aid kits. Your captain is trained to manage road blocks and weather delays, so you can just enjoy the ride.
HimTrek
We’re HimTrek. We don’t do luxury; we do crazy vibes, road trips, and mountains. Whether it’s chasing sunsets at Key Monastery or camping under the stars at Chandratal, we handle the logistics so you can just enjoy the ride.
