Most people focus on the final shot, but the real skill is in the skin prep and specific layering. When I do these transformations, I am constantly adjusting my technique based on your unique skin texture and the lighting of your venue. Whether I am using airbrush or ultra-HD layering, my goal is to make sure your foundation looks like skin, not a mask.
Understanding Your Transformation
When you watch these before and after clips, you are seeing a collaboration. Many clients come to me nervous about how much coverage they need, and that is where the consultation becomes key.
- The Prep: It starts with hydration and skin analysis. If you have sensitive skin, I adjust the primers and sprays I use, drawing on the techniques I studied in Russia.
- The Layering: For party looks, we often go for buildable coverage that feels light but stays put through the humidity of a long event. For bridal transformations, I switch to airbrush or heavy-duty HD layering that survives sweat, hugs, and hours of dancing.
- The Eyes: You will notice in these clips that I do not just apply eyeshadow. I study your eye shape. If you have hooded eyes, I use specific techniques to open them up. If you want a sharp, foxy look, I adjust my liner placement to match.
