One thing you should know is that these special effects, especially chromes and magnetic cat-eye, depend heavily on the base color we choose. We usually recommend a dark gel base to make that shift pop, so bring in some inspiration photos and we will help you pick the right combo to make it look truly 'dhurandhar'.

The Techniques We Use
- Magnetic Cat-Eye: This is huge right now. We use a magnetic wand to move the glitter particles while the gel is still wet, creating that depth and velvety movement. It works perfectly for deep purples, blues, and reds.
- Chrome Powders: For that mirror-like, futuristic finish. We burnish the chrome pigment onto a non-wipe top coat. It is a bit of a process, but the results are always head-turning.
- Glitter & Gradient: Whether you want an ombre blend or a full-coverage sparkle, we layer these strategically so they do not feel thick or bumpy.
Things to Consider
- Time: These designs are meticulous. If you have a specific event in mind, please plan for a little extra time in the chair so we do not have to rush the artistry.
- Longevity: Because these effects use extra layers or specialized top coats, they often hold up even better than basic polish. We recommend a fresh set every 3 to 4 weeks to keep them looking crisp.
