The Fun Behind the Footwork: How We Practice for Your Wedding
Wedding dance practice is less about getting every step perfect and more about laughing, bonding, and feeling ready for the big day. Whether we're in your living room or joining virtually, let's make it super fun.
Here is a peek at me working on the latest choreography for an upcoming wedding. I am always creating new routines in the studio to keep things fresh and exciting.
Dancing to the trending "What Jhumka?" song. I love creating choreography for the latest hits that everyone wants to dance to at weddings.
A little celebration dance with my sister after sending off all the tutorial videos to a client. This is a glimpse of the fun we have behind the scenes.
A surprise performance in the making. This video shows a group of friends during a rehearsal, getting ready to surprise the bride and groom at their wedding.

This is how we have fun during a family dance practice. It is all about laughing, enjoying the music, and making memories together, even before the big day.
Happiness is when you have super enthusiastic cousins who perform so well. This clip captures the high energy of the groom's cousins during their reception performance.
About this collection
If your family is spread out across cities or everyone is just too busy to sync schedules for every session, don't worry. I send step-by-step video tutorials and mirror-view recordings via WhatsApp for remote family members, so everyone stays in rhythm regardless of where they are.
Making Practice Feel Like a Party
I believe the rehearsal room should be a stress-free zone. Whether you're in the middle of Bengaluru or planning from afar, my process is designed to make you feel comfortable rather than overwhelmed. We start by balancing high-energy hooks with lower-intensity moves, so you can enjoy the routine without getting exhausted before the big night.
How We Work Together
- In-Person Sessions: I come to your home for rehearsals, making it easy to practice in the space you're comfortable in. It’s perfect for getting the whole squad together without the hassle of studio bookings.
- Virtual & Remote Support: For family members who can't make it to every rehearsal, I provide custom instructional videos. You get front-facing and mirror-view angles, along with slow-motion breakdowns for any complex footwork.
- Wardrobe Hacks: We'll test your moves in your actual outfits during practice. I’ll show you how to pin dupattas, choose the right sneakers under your lehenga, and manage heavy headpieces so you can dance safely on the stage.
Pro-Tips for Your Practice
When we're putting your routine together, my main advice is to prioritize comfort. If you have a fast beat, we’ll use smaller, sharper steps and focus on hand movements to keep you looking graceful. For romantic tracks, we focus on the flow. My goal is to ensure that when you step onto that stage, you’re not thinking about the steps—you're just having a blast.
