About this collection
Let’s talk about your footwear—don't try to dance in your heavy wedding heels. During our rehearsals, I usually recommend my couples practice in their sneakers or comfy flats to get the timing right, and keep those heavy lehengas pinned so you can move freely. Trust me, it makes all the difference when you finally step onto that stage.
Choreographing a wedding dance is about capturing the story of you two. I don't want you to stress about perfection or hitting every beat like a professional backup dancer. My goal is to make sure your first dance, sangeet performance, or anniversary routine feels authentic to who you are as a couple. Whether you are comfortable with high-energy Bollywood hooks or you prefer a slow, romantic flow, I adapt the choreography to match your energy level and comfort zone.
How We Make It Happen
My approach is flexible because I know weddings are hectic. For our Power Couple performances, we usually cover a 2.5 to 3-minute track. This gives us enough time to tell a story without making you exhausted. I provide 3 to 4 in-person rehearsals at your location to ensure we nail the stage positioning, lighting angles, and those 'filmy' moments.
If you or your partner are traveling, or if schedules are tight, I also offer detailed video tutorials. These include mirror-view walkthroughs and slow-motion breakdowns of the steps, so you can practice on your own time. I even handle the audio mixing—shortening tracks or creating smooth medleys—so you have one less thing to worry about before the DJ takes over.
Practical Tips for the Big Day
- Wardrobe Hacks: If you are wearing a heavy headpiece or a dupatta, we will practice with them on. You need to know how they move before the actual performance.
- Audio & Transitions: I provide the final, professionally mixed audio track, so there is zero confusion about timing when you walk out on stage.
- The 'Haath Upar' Factor: Ultimately, if you miss a step, don't freeze. Just keep smiling and keep moving. Your energy is what the audience remembers, not whether your hand was at the perfect angle. Let's get the party started!
