Ready to own your sangeet stage? Let's turn your solo performance into a memory you’ll cherish, whether you want full filmy drama or graceful elegance.

A gorgeous bridal solo performance against a stunning LED backdrop. We used the visuals to create a magical, moonlit atmosphere for her graceful and expressive dance.

Here are some of my pro tips for brides. To dance freely, practice in your outfit, choose comfortable footwear, and match your steps to the song's tempo. Notice how this bride moves with grace in her beautiful lehenga.

More tips for a comfortable bridal performance. I always suggest a light, pinned dupatta, a secure hairstyle, and my favorite secret weapon: sneakers under the lehenga for maximum comfort and movement.

About this collection

Don't just practice in leggings and a t-shirt. The secret to a confident bridal solo isn't just the choreography; it's how you move in your actual wedding outfit. During our sessions, I always insist we run through your steps in your heavy lehenga, with your dupatta pinned exactly as you’ll wear it, and sneakers tucked underneath. It makes the actual performance feel like a breeze instead of a struggle against your heavy fabric.

Your bridal solo is your moment to shine, and my approach is designed to make you feel like a star, not a stressed performer. When we work together, we focus on routines that match your comfort level and style. If you’re a beginner who wants simple steps that look dramatic on camera, I’ll prioritize hand expressions and slow, deliberate movements. If you’re someone who loves a fast-paced Bollywood number, we’ll build in high-energy sequences that get the crowd cheering.

I offer both in-person rehearsals in Bengaluru and virtual training for those with a busy schedule. We start by selecting a track that tells your story—whether it’s a romantic ballad or a high-energy dance hit. I handle the audio mixing, editing your song to the perfect length to keep your audience engaged.

Practical Tips for Your Solo

  • Outfit Testing: We will test every headpiece, dupatta style, and heavy embellishment during practice. If an ornament feels loose or a dupatta is slipping, we fix it before the sangeet day.
  • The Sneaker Hack: I am a huge advocate for comfort. Wearing sneakers under your lehenga lets you move, jump, and spin without fear of tripping or sore feet.
  • Nerves are Normal: That’s part of the fun! We practice until the steps become muscle memory. By the time you step onto the stage, you won’t be thinking about the count—you’ll just be enjoying the music, the lights, and the applause.

Let’s get that stage ready, haath upar!

I’m Sanya, and I live for the energy of a sangeet stage. My favorite part of choreographing a bride's solo is helping her shake off the nerves and just have fun—seeing that shift from 'I'm shy' to 'I own this stage' is why I do what I do.
