This is a popular decoration for a naming ceremony at home. It features a full balloon arch in multiple colors with a 'Naming Ceremony' neon sign and a name reveal board against a simple tiled wall.
Here is the same naming ceremony balloon arch, but with fairy lights added to the backdrop. This small addition creates a sparkling and festive effect, perfect for evening celebrations.
This naming ceremony setup features a hanging floral cradle as the main attraction. In the background, a purple balloon arch and cartoon baby cutouts add a playful and colorful touch to the stage.

A modern ring backdrop I created for a naming ceremony. The large circular frame is covered with white, pink, and gold balloons, with a custom nameplate hanging in the center.
For a simple and sweet naming ceremony at home, I created this blue and white balloon arch around the baby's cradle. A small, decorated nameplate hangs above the cradle to complete the look.
This video shows the simple home setup for a naming ceremony. I used a blue and white balloon arch to frame the cradle and placed smaller balloon bunches on the walls to decorate the entire room.
About Naming Ceremony & Cradle Decor
When planning your naming ceremony, the cradle is the main event. I usually recommend setting it up against a blank wall so we can frame it properly with balloon arches or floral rings. If you are short on space, we can do a wall-mounted decor backdrop instead of a full stage, which keeps the area open for guests while still looking great for photos.
Naming ceremony decoration needs to be soft, safe, and happy. Whether you call it Barsa or Namkaran, the goal is to make the baby’s cradle the center of attention.
I do a lot of setups in flats across Mumbai where space is tight. For smaller rooms, I suggest a simple blue and white or pink and white balloon arch around the cradle. It adds color without blocking your movement. For a more traditional vibe, I can decorate a Sankheda jhula with heavy artificial flowers and fairy lights, which looks perfect for your family photos.
Custom Themes and Props
If you have a theme in mind—like Cocomelon, Krishna, or a fairy tale vibe—let me know. I use sunboard cutouts to bring the character to life. I also provide neon signs like 'Oh Baby' or Marathi signage for a local touch.
My Process
- Consultation: Tell me your space and budget.
- Customization: We decide on balloons, florals, or props.
- Setup: My team takes 60 to 90 minutes to finish the work. I handle the setup so you can focus on the ceremony.
- Cleanup: Balloons are disposable, so you just need to pop them after the event is over.
I cover all of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. If you are worried about pricing, I focus on budget-friendly solutions that do not look cheap. You get quality materials, on-time setup, and a decoration that actually lasts for the whole ceremony.
