- Application and blending of clip-in extensions (hair pieces provided by client).
Accessories & Finishing
- Fixing heavy jewelry (Maang Tikka, Matha Patti, Passa, Jada Billa) using invisible threading and pinning.
- Secure pinning of the bridal dupatta on the head.
- Setting fresh flowers (Gajras, roses) using wire-wrapping techniques.
- Includes all pins, nets, synthetic stuffing, padding, and professional holding sprays (Schwarzkopf/Osis+).

I’m Puja, and bridal hairstyling is honestly my favourite part of being a hairstylist in Mumbai. I get to travel, meet brides from all over, and create looks that match their personalities and the vibe of each event. Not every style works for everyone, so I’m all about finding what suits you best - from classic vibes to something more filmi.
Looks for Every Wedding Event
- Pre-wedding? I love playing with soft waves, cute half-updos, or even Bollywood glam ponytails for sangeet (full-on volume!) and creative braids for mehndi and haldi. I’ll weave in colourful threads, flowers, whatever feels fun.
- Main ceremony styles are close to my heart - Poola Jada for South Indian brides, authentic Maharashtrian Peshwai updos, elegant buns for North Indian and Sikh brides (flowers everywhere, trust me), and sleek Muslim bridal buns that look so classy.
- Reception party hair is where we get modern - open waves, contemporary updos, sometimes even big bows or net veils if you’re up for something different.
My Toolkit
- I use a mix of tried-and-tested techniques - traditional bridal updo, voluminous curls for bride, and of course, hair extensions when you want that extra drama.
- Signature accessories are a must: fresh mogra (jasmine), roses, matha patti, maang tikka, passa, jeweled pins, and whatever else matches your outfit.
I’m here to create a look that lasts through the dancing, the hugs, and all the happy tears. But honestly, Mumbai humidity can be a pain, so I’ll prep your hair to hold up as best as possible. Real talk - some styles need touch-ups, especially if you’re dancing a lot. Let’s keep it beautiful, practical, and totally you.
