Signature Bridal Hairstyles
A handpicked selection of my favorite wedding looks, ranging from traditional ceremony styles to modern, glamorous reception waves.
This is my take on the classic South Indian bridal braid, also known as Poola Jada. I've used a thick, fishtail plait as the base and adorned it with fragrant jasmine (mogra) gajra and traditional gold ornaments for a truly regal wedding day look.
A voluminous and intricately textured bridal bun, perfect for a North Indian wedding ceremony. This style is accented with deep magenta flowers and a delicate chained accessory, creating a look that is both classic and striking from every angle.
For a soft and romantic pre-wedding look, I created these beautiful, uniform waves using extensions for added length and volume. The style is finished with small, fresh floral clips, making it ideal for an engagement or Sangeet ceremony.
This is a high-glamour Sangeet or reception hairstyle. I crafted a voluminous, curly high ponytail that is both chic and secure, allowing the bride to dance the night away without a worry. It pairs perfectly with modern, structured gowns.

Perfect for a fun Mehendi or Haldi event, this creative braid is woven with colorful threads and bright tassels. It's a playful yet traditional style, finished with a pearl hair accessory for an extra touch of elegance.

About Featured
Mumbai weather can be unpredictable, but your hair doesn't have to be. For every look I create, I focus on 'dance-proof' durability by using specialized heat-styling techniques and professional-grade humidity-resistant sprays. Whether you need a heavy South Indian bridal braid to hold its structure all day or soft waves that won't fall flat by the reception, my priority is ensuring your hairstyle stays perfectly in place from the first ceremony to the last dance.
My approach to bridal hair is all about balance. I look at your outfit, the jewelry you've chosen, and the specific event to decide on a technique that elevates your natural features.
My Styling Approach
-
Traditional Ceremony Looks: For South Indian weddings, I focus on structural integrity for the Poola Jada or Peshwai buns, ensuring heavy temple jewelry and fresh flowers are secured using invisible threading. For North Indian ceremonies, I use crimping and padding to create the volume needed for a classic, full bun that frames your dupatta perfectly.
-
Modern & Glamorous Events: For Sangeet and reception functions, I lean into contemporary styles. This means working with high-quality extensions to achieve the volume required for Hollywood waves or sleek, high ponytails. I use advanced tonging techniques to ensure curls remain defined and bouncy, even after hours of movement.
-
Collaborative Styling: I firmly believe that great hair is part of a bigger picture. I work closely with your makeup artist and draping team to ensure your hair placement complements your makeup, especially when heavy accessories like matha pattis or passas are involved. If your makeup artist is from my professional network, we already have a rhythm for ensuring your look comes together seamlessly on the day of the event.
