About Flowing Curls & Waves
When I create soft waves, I do not just curl and leave. I pin them up while they cool to lock in the shape, so your hair does not flatten out halfway through the sangeet. You will see me carrying my pinning kit everywhere because that is the difference between hair that drops in an hour and hair that stays bouncy for the whole event.
Humidity is the biggest enemy of a good hair day in Mumbai, which is why my process for curls and waves focuses heavily on structural prep. Before I touch any hot tool, I work on texturizing the hair to give it that 'grit' that makes curls actually hold.
