About The Sunday Ritual (Market Vibe & Community)
Most weekends, you’ll find our regulars hanging around the stalls long after they’ve filled their bags. It’s not just about picking up organic vegetables; it’s about the time you spend chatting with the farmer who grew your food about how the season is affecting the crop. We don't have fancy store-bought aesthetics, just real people, real conversations, and the freshest seasonal produce that traveled less than 50km to reach you.
When we started this 10 years ago, the goal was simple: creating a space where people could actually trust what they were eating. We call this the 'pajama-chappal' market because that is exactly how you should show up. Leave the formal attire at home, bring your own thela (cloth bag), and join the community.
Why This Ritual Works
- Direct from Source: You are meeting the farmers who grew the kale, the ladies who pressed the oil, and the bakers who made the sourdough. No middlemen, no mystery.
- Zero-Waste Shopping: We are strict about plastic. We encourage everyone to bring their own containers and bags, which helps keep our footprint small.
- Hyper-Local Focus: Our produce is harvested within a 20 to 50km radius. If you are eating it, it was likely in the soil just hours before you picked it up.
Where to Find Us
We run two distinct markets every week, and we are there rain or shine because food is a daily necessity.
- Saturdays: Sustainable Oasis, Sector 29, Gurgaon.
- Sundays: Club 5, DLF Phase 5, Gurgaon.
Come by between 8 AM and 11 AM. Whether you are looking for chemical-free produce, fresh dairy, or just a place to talk about local food ecosystems, you are welcome. We aren't here to push products; we are here to build a community that cares about health and the environment.
Manas
I’m Manas, and I’ve been hosting this market for over a decade. I’m not here to sell you products; I’m here to help you reclaim your fundamental right to clean, honest food. Come by this Sunday—let’s talk, let’s eat, and let’s keep it real.
