Discover hidden shapes and organic forms across India, captured from above with a focus on geometric detail.

Part of my "Creatures of the Earth" series, this top-down aerial photo captures the abstract shape of a dried riverbed, resembling a "Structured Amoeba." It's about seeing the world with a child's wonder.

An aerial photograph of a road cutting through vibrant green paddy fields. From above, the pattern looks like a "Green-worm," another piece from my "Creatures of the Earth" collection.

A top-down view of an ancient walled city, where the layout of the streets and buildings forms the shape of a "Flat frog." This is about finding patterns and stories in the landscape.

A winding river cutting through green fields, seen from directly above. This simple, elegant line in the landscape looks like a "Water Snake," part of my abstract aerial photography series.

About Aerial Photography: Patterns of the Earth

I capture these patterns using a DJI Mavic 3 Pro, focusing on direct top-down angles that flatten the landscape. These images are about finding the organic lines in nature, such as riverbeds or field boundaries, that create abstract shapes when viewed from altitude. Unlike my fast-paced FPV flights, this is slow photography where I wait for the light to hit textures just right to make the geometry pop.

The 'Creatures of the Earth' series started during my 100-day road trip across India. While I was constantly moving, these static photos captured the moments I stopped to look closer at the land. I use the 20MP Micro 4/3 sensor on my drone for these images to ensure enough detail for large prints.

From the ancient walled layouts of Rajasthan to the symmetrical paddy fields of the south, I hunt for lines that break the monotony of the ground. It requires finding the right symmetry during golden hour, where long shadows define the shapes of the terrain.

If you are looking for aerial photography that moves beyond standard wide-angle shots to something more artistic and textured, this is the approach I bring to commercial architecture or luxury landscape projects. It is about shifting perspective to reveal the hidden 'creatures' in our surroundings.

I started as a kid breaking toys just to see how they worked, and now I use my drones to take the world apart and put it back together in my frames. Flying for me is about finding the 'Creatures of the Earth' in places others overlook. I am here to capture the stories the ground hides from you.
