My Featured Crochet Creations and Patterns
Welcome to my little yarn corner! Here you will find a mix of my free no-sew patterns, custom amigurumi, and the random projects that pop into my head. Everything is handmade, one stitch at a time.
Check out this super cute no-sew banana I designed. The best part is that the lil banana fruit is completely removable from the peel. It’s a quick and fun amigurumi project.
Here’s a close-up of my no-sew seal keychain, made with a soft, textured yarn. I designed this pattern to be simple, so you can make this adorable friend without any fussy sewing.
I took my little squishy octopus on an adventure. I love how the velvet yarn makes these amigurumi creations so soft and huggable, and the no-sew pattern is free on my page.
Here’s a little peek at how I crochet the tentacles for my octopus. This video shows the process of working the stitches to create the curly legs, which is a key part of my no-sew octopus pattern.
This is one of my favorite creations, the squishy octopus. I provide the complete crochet pattern for free so you can make your own.
Look how cute the seal keychain turned out in this dusty purple velvet yarn. You can use any color you like for this pattern to make your own unique lil seal.
A little throwback to this hot air balloon I free-handed, inspired by the BTS 'Young Forever' album cover. It was a fun challenge figuring out the shaping and colors with different skeins of yarn.
About Featured
My approach to crochet is simple: if I can make it without the fussy sewing, I will. I suggest using a 4.5mm to 6mm velvet or chenille yarn for these projects because it builds structure quickly and gives you that soft, squishy finish that looks great without extra assembly work.
I started this journey because I wanted to make things that felt like a hug, not items mass-produced by a machine. My no-sew patterns are designed specifically for that purpose. Whether it is the removable banana where the fruit actually pops out, or the squishy seal keychain, my goal is to keep things fun and beginner-friendly.
Why I Focus on No-Sew Designs
Let’s be real, sewing pieces together is the most tedious part of amigurumi. I focus on creating designs where the tentacles or limbs are worked directly onto the body. It saves you time, prevents loose threads from popping out, and makes the finished product much more durable.
How to Use These Patterns
Each pattern I share includes:
- A full materials list (I almost exclusively use velvet or chenille yarn for the best squish factor).
- A digital legend so you understand the shorthand.
- High-resolution photos showing the object from every angle.
- Short video clips for the tricky bits, like the bobble stitch.
Custom Commissions
While I love sharing free patterns for the community, I also take on custom orders. If you have a wild idea, like a specific character or pet, I can convert 2D reference images into a 3D crochet schematic. I handle the freehand prototyping to ensure the structure holds up, and then I send you the exclusive PDF. If you ever get stuck on a pattern or a custom commission, just shoot me a message. No question is silly, and I am always happy to help you get your stitches right.
