About Sports Turf Installation
For professional pitches, I always use a dual-density system. We install a tighter, firm weave on the main pitch to ensure predictable ball bounce, while using a softer, higher-density variant around the surrounding area for better shock absorption. This specific combination protects players during intense practice and extends the lifespan of the turf under heavy foot traffic.
When you are investing in a sports surface, you cannot afford to cut corners on material quality. As a direct importer of Vietnam-sourced grass, I stock everything in my own 12,000 square foot godown in Bangalore. This allows me to control exactly what goes into your facility.
Why the right turf matters
Cricket pitches, in particular, need specific fiber heights and densities. If the pile is too soft, the ball will not behave correctly. If the backing is too thin, it will tear after a few months of bowling practice. I ensure that all sports-grade turf we supply comes with high-grade UV stabilization and double-layer latex backing. This prevents the grass from fading under the harsh Indian sun and keeps the surface stable even after years of daily use.
The installation process
We don't just drop off rolls of grass. Our team handles the site preparation, including base cleaning and the use of professional-grade adhesives designed for high-traction areas. For football grounds and multi-sport facilities, we focus on seam integrity. We use specialized jointing tape to ensure that the transition between rolls is invisible, removing the risk of tripping during play.
