You’re going to be on the dance floor for hours, not just posing for a still photo. I layer and set your base so it handles sweat and stage lights without ever feeling heavy or cakey. We’ll decide if we want soft shimmer for your reception or something sharper for your cocktail night, but the goal is always the same: you should look like yourself, just radiant.
The biggest mistake people make with party makeup is assuming it needs to be heavy to look good under venue lights. After over a decade in this industry, I’ve found the opposite is true. For Sangeet and cocktail nights, we want makeup that moves with you. I use 16-hour wear, sweat-proof formulations that provide a luminous finish while remaining breathable.
My process for these events is collaborative. When we sit down, I’ll ask you, 'thoda blush add kar de?' (should we add a little blush?) because this is about your comfort. For a reception, we might lean into timeless grace with soft, shimmer-kissed eyes and a neutral lip. If it’s a cocktail night, we can experiment with a sharper liner, bolder glitter, or a deeper lip color.
