You know that moment when the flash goes off and your face looks completely different? That usually happens because of high-SPF foundations or poor setting. I use a layer, set, and seal technique with flash-proof, luxury foundations like Dior and Charlotte Tilbury. It ensures your skin stays true to its tone under camera lights and remains sweat-resistant, no matter how long the event lasts.
My process for red carpet and event makeup is strictly technical, but the result is meant to feel like you are not wearing anything at all. When you are on a stage or in front of a camera, harsh lighting can wash out your features or create unwanted shine. I account for this by using heavy-duty cream and powder contouring that provides structure while still looking soft to the naked eye.
Hygiene is the foundation of my work. I use sanitized luxury brushes and disposable wands for every application. I also go beyond just facial makeup. For red carpet gowns or backless outfits, I apply shimmer to the collarbones and arms to ensure your skin tone is uniform and glowing from every angle.
For hair, I work with senior stylists to create structural updos or waves that won't fall flat due to humidity or movement. If you have an outfit that needs specific draping, I handle the safety pinning and taping so you don't have to worry about your look slipping. My goal is to make sure you are comfortable and confident from the first photo to the last dance.
