See how we transform barren patches into thriving ecosystems. From Noida to Delhi, these living projects show what happens when we step back and let nature do the hard work.

A quick tour of our Sorkha plantation site, a place that has transformed from a barren wasteland into a paradise of green. Notice the dense tree cover, the winding paths, and the specially designed insect hotel that supports our smallest residents.

"Discover the trails of Jaunapur City Forest." We invite you to explore the paths of this vital green space in Delhi, a living example of how people and nature can grow together in the city.

A view of the large water pond at our Jaunapur City Forest. This man-made water body is now a crucial part of the ecosystem, attracting birds and dragonflies and helping to maintain the ecological balance of the area.

A collage showing the lushness of our Sector 150 site in Noida. The lotus pond and the green, shaded pathways are a testament to how quickly a neglected area can be turned into a biodiverse sanctuary.

The bamboo hut at our Sector 150 Noida site is now enveloped by creepers and dense foliage. This structure serves as a resting spot for our team and volunteers, fully integrated into the natural surroundings.

A view of the dense, multi-layered greenery at the Sector 150 site. The mix of banana plants, shrubs, and trees creates a rich, tropical feel and provides diverse habitats for wildlife.

A beautiful green archway formed by trees along a path at our Noida site. As our forests mature, they create these natural tunnels, offering cool shade and a magical experience for visitors.

A long, straight path at the Sector 150 site, lined with green poles that will soon be covered by growing plants. This shows the structure and planning that goes into designing our urban forests.

The Harit Upvan site in Greater Noida West, a CSR initiative with HCL. This path, once surrounded by barren land, is now flanked by lush green bushes and young trees, showing the early stages of a successful restoration.

Another view of the Harit Upvan, where different species of native plants are growing together in dense clusters. This mixed planting approach mimics a natural forest and promotes biodiversity.

About Our Living Projects: A Glimpse into Our Sites

You might notice our sites don't look like perfectly manicured gardens. That’s intentional. We keep native grasses and wild shrubs because they are the lungs of the soil and act as massive carbon sinks. Don't be surprised to see insect hotels, piles of dry leaves for mulch, or unpruned branches; we prioritize biodiversity and soil health over aesthetic perfection.

Nature has its own intelligence, and our role is simply to provide the environment where it can flourish. When you walk through our sites like Sorkha or the Jaunapur City Forest, you aren't seeing a 'landscaped' park. You are witnessing a self-sustaining habitat.

Why our sites look different

  • No chemicals: We strictly avoid pesticides. The biodiversity you see—the butterflies, lizards, and birds—returns only because the land is toxin-free.
  • Native-first approach: We only plant species like Peepal, Banyan, and Neem that belong to the local soil. They need less water, attract local wildlife, and survive the harsh Indian summers without a fuss.
  • The power of 'weeds': We don't remove wild grass. It protects the soil from heat, retains moisture, and provides a home for insects. We manage it, not clear it.

The process behind the green

It starts with soil rehabilitation. We prepare the ground, put up a fence, and then wait. The work involves manual pit digging, organic manuring, and consistent watering for the first three years. Once the trees take root and the canopy begins to close, we gradually step back. We rely on local caretakers—often women from nearby communities—to watch over these forests. This gives them a sense of ownership, steady employment, and ensures the forest stays safe. Whether it is a CSR project with HCL or a small patch in a local neighbourhood, the goal is always the same: create a green space that breathes, thrives, and supports life long after we have finished planting.

We are a community of tree lovers, not a landscaping agency. I spend my days ensuring nature gets the space it needs to bloom, whether it’s a tiny patch in a school or a large forest in the city.
