We don’t just plant trees, we let the land heal itself. See how we’ve turned barren, neglected city patches into self-sustaining urban forests over the years.

A path that was once exposed and barren at our Sorkha site in 2017 is now a shaded green tunnel, seven years later. This is the result of consistent care and allowing native species to create a natural canopy.

This aerial view shows the incredible scale of transformation at Harit Upvan Sorkha. From a few scattered saplings on dry land in 2017, it has grown into a dense forest ecosystem that is now visible from above.

The entrance to our Uday Upvan at the Sorkha site tells a story of growth. The simple bamboo gate from 2017 has been replaced by a permanent structure, now enveloped by the lush forest that has grown around it over seven years.

This before and after at our Idemia Phase 2 site in Noida shows a dramatic change in just over a year. The once dry and sparse land is now covered in dense, green undergrowth, showcasing the rapid progress of our restoration efforts.

A simple dirt path at the Idemia site, once lined with a rope fence, is now a lush green walkway. The trees have matured, providing shade and creating a welcoming entrance to this growing urban forest.

The transformation along this fence line at the Idemia site is remarkable. What was a barren strip of land is now a vibrant green corridor, with native plants and grasses reclaiming the space and creating a rich habitat.

From a few struggling saplings in dry, compacted soil, this area at our Idemia site has become a thriving green patch. This shows how soil rehabilitation and planting native species can completely revive a neglected piece of land.

At our Noida Sector 75 site, rusted barrels and sparse weeds have been replaced by a field of healthy, green foliage. This transformation highlights how we clean and restore land, making it productive and full of life again.

A pile of construction debris on an empty plot has made way for a healthy, mature tree at Noida Sector 75. This is a powerful example of how urban wastelands can be reclaimed and turned into valuable green assets for the community.

The ground at Noida Sector 75, once a rough path of gravel and dirt, is now a soft, grassy trail flanked by young trees. This change not only improves the aesthetics but also the health of the soil and the local microclimate.

About From Dust to Forest: Our Transformation Stories

You will notice we don’t clear away the wild grass or weeds. That is intentional. That seemingly messy ground cover is a vital carbon sink and protects the topsoil, keeping the ground cool for new saplings. When we take over a site, we aren't there to manicure it into a garden, we’re there to let nature reclaim it, messy and all.

Trusting Nature to Do the Work

Turning a dead, compacted patch of land into a living forest requires patience, not just heavy machinery. When we start a project, our first step is often the hardest for clients to understand: stepping back. We prep the soil, fix the saplings, and set up fencing, but then we let nature take over.

The Anatomy of a Transformation

We don't believe in quick-fix plantations that require constant chemical intervention. Instead, we focus on soil rehabilitation. Whether it is our Harit Upvan Sorkha site or the Idemia Phase 2 project in Noida, the process remains the same:

  • Soil Preparation: We dig 2x2 ft pits, solarize the soil, and mix in organic manure.
  • Native Selection: We plant only local varieties like Peepal, Banyan, and Neem, ensuring they are suited to the climate and local water tables.
  • Long-Term Care: We stick around. Our 3-year maintenance program includes regular watering and monitoring, ensuring that every sapling survives to become part of the canopy.

Why Biodiversity Matters

It is not just about the trees. A true forest is an ecosystem. At our sites, you will find insect hotels for pollinators, water bodies for birds, and thick undergrowth that houses lizards and beneficial insects. This is how we create urban biodiversity parks that thrive without pesticides. If you look at our work in Noida Sector 75, you can see how piles of construction debris have given way to shade-bearing trees and soft, grassy trails. That is the goal: reclaiming valuable green assets for the community, one patch at a time.
