I’ve always asked myself: why is studying treated like a chore? At Givan Academy, I connect your syllabus to the world you see every day. Whether it is why the ocean looks blue or how hiccups happen, we break down the logic right here.

Is Ajinomoto, or MSG, safe to eat? I explain that it's a brand name for a salt called Monosodium Glutamate, which is naturally derived from fermenting sugarcane. I discuss the science behind its production, its natural presence in foods like tomatoes, and what the FDA says about its safety.

We usually focus on ripe bananas, but what about raw ones? I explain the incredible medical benefits of unripe bananas, from improving digestion and heart health to managing blood sugar and boosting immunity. You'll learn about their rich vitamin and potassium content and how to include them in your diet.

This is part two of my explanation on hiccups. I dive deeper into pneumonitis, a type of lung inflammation that can occur when food particles enter the lungs. Learn how this can lead to infection and why chewing your food properly is so important for your respiratory and digestive health.

Why does your stomach growl? I explain the biological process of peristalsis, the muscle contractions that move food through your digestive system. This sound is a normal part of digestion and a signal from your body, not just a sign of hunger.

Thinking about getting a tattoo? First, understand the science. I explain how the tattoo needle penetrates the skin, triggering an inflammation process where your white blood cells try to fight the foreign ink particles. Learn about the potential health risks, including allergies and blood-borne diseases.

Ever feel dizzy or see blurry when you stand up too quickly? This is called postural hypotension. I explain how gravity pools blood in your lower body, causing a temporary drop in blood pressure and how your body, specifically baroreceptor cells, quickly works to correct it.

A student asked me, "If the sun is in space, why is space dark?" The answer lies in the absence of an atmosphere. I explain how light needs particles to scatter, which is why Earth's sky is bright but the vacuum of space remains dark. This is a great example of the physics of light.

Can males get pregnant? In the animal kingdom, yes. I introduce you to fascinating sea animals like seahorses, pipefishes, and sea dragons, where the males carry and give birth to the young. It's a mind-boggling example of the diversity of life on our planet.

Does goat's milk really increase platelets during dengue? I bust this myth and explain that while it has anti-inflammatory properties that boost immunity, the key to recovery is hydration. I provide a list of effective foods and fluids that truly help your body fight the virus and recover.

Where did the Dengue virus actually come from? While it's spread by mosquitoes, it originated in monkeys. I trace the history of the virus and explain the life cycle, from how a female Aedes mosquito transmits it to how the virus attacks the bone marrow, causing a drop in platelet count.

About Science in Everyday Life

Ever wondered why you get dizzy when standing up too fast, or why your stomach growls when you are hungry? It is not magic, it is just biology in action. In my classes at our Pandav Nagar center, I help students see these patterns in their NEET and CUET syllabus. We move beyond rote memorization because once you understand the logic behind the phenomenon, you do not need to struggle to remember the textbook definition.

My teaching style at Givan Academy is built on curiosity. Many students come to me struggling with Physics, Chemistry, or Biology because they treat it as abstract theory. My goal is to ground every concept in a real-world context.

How We Simplify Science

When we look at the science of everyday life, suddenly the curriculum makes sense.

  • Visual Learning: We use Smart Class visual aids for anatomy and complex diagrams, making sure you don't just read about biology, but see it.
  • Physics in Motion: Instead of fearing scary formulas, we look at the physics around you. Whether it's light scattering in the atmosphere or the mechanics of sound, we find the answers together.
  • Doubt Clearing: I know that the 'why' is often hidden in the small doubts. That is why I encourage 24/7 support via WhatsApp groups and post-class sessions. No sharmao, bas pooch lo (Don't be shy, just ask).

Preparing for Competitive Exams

We bridge this understanding gap for NEET and CUET candidates. When you understand why MSG affects your taste or how viral infections like Dengue actually impact your bone marrow, answering complex exam questions becomes a matter of logic rather than memory.
