About Modern Heritage: Bandhgalas & Jodhpuris
Most people think a Bandhgala is just a stiff jacket, but the magic is in the internal construction. I use heavy-duty fusing in the chest and collar to make sure your jacket holds that sharp, upright posture all night, regardless of how much you move or dance.
The modern Bandhgala is not about looking like everyone else in the room. Tradition is my starting point, not the destination. When I design a Jodhpuri jacket or a Bandhgala, I look for ways to break the mold. Whether it is using heavy velvet with aggressive, sharp cuts or adding intricate tonal embroidery that only reveals itself up close, the goal is impact.
I operate out of my studio in Defence Colony, Delhi, where we work through the entire process from fabric selection to the final fit. You will not find standard templates here. If you want a piece that commands attention at a wedding, a sangeet, or any high-profile event, we focus on the details that matter. This means using heavy-weight suiting fabrics or Italian velvets that drape properly, combined with stiffened fusing in the collar and chest. This engineering ensures the jacket maintains an upright, authoritative posture without collapsing.
My approach to modern ethnic wear is rooted in the idea of the standout man. We skip the generic patterns. Instead, we go for texture, metallic buttons, or placement embroidery on the cuffs and collars. If you are tired of the same old, safe wedding attire, my studio is where you come to find something that actually represents your personality. We handle everything from the initial design consultation to the final physical fittings, ensuring the garment feels like an extension of your own style rather than a costume you are wearing for the night. Let us make something that makes people look twice.

I do not believe in safe fashion. My studio in Defence Colony is for the guy who wants to walk into a room and silence the crowd, not just fit in. If you have an idea for a look, we can make it happen.
