Tigers of Tadoba Photography
Capturing the wild, unpredictable nature of Tadoba's tigers. Join me for field-based photography mentorship or bring the jungle home with archival fine art prints.
A bold male tiger confidently crosses the safari track in Tadoba, unfazed by our presence. These are the unpredictable, thrilling moments I help you capture on my guided photography tours, where patience and knowledge of the terrain lead to unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Making direct eye contact with a tiger is a profound experience. This intimate portrait was taken from a safari jeep, using a telephoto lens to capture the intensity in its gaze without disturbing the animal. It is a perfect example of the powerful wildlife art prints available in my collection.
Here, a tigress patrols her territory against the dense bamboo backdrop characteristic of Tadoba. Capturing these natural behaviors requires understanding the animal's routine, a key focus of my wildlife photography workshops.
Another view of a tiger on the move, this time with its head raised, scanning the surroundings. Each encounter is unique, and my goal is to document these subtle differences in posture and expression for my wildlife portrait collection.
This tiger's powerful stride is on full display as it walks through the dry forest floor. The lighting and natural environment are key elements I focus on to create authentic wildlife portraits that look stunning as wall art.
Even at rest, a tiger is a magnificent sight. I found this one cooling off in the shade during a warm afternoon safari. This candid shot highlights the quiet moments that are just as compelling as the action packed ones.
About Tigers of Tadoba
Getting the shot in Tadoba is rarely about just waiting for a tiger to walk by. I focus on positioning the safari vehicle based on recent movement patterns and managing shutter speeds for the specific bamboo-filtered light found in the reserve. We work together to anticipate the action before it starts, ensuring you capture the behavior rather than just the animal.
1-on-1 Field Mentorship
Photography is a technical discipline that requires adapting to unpredictable conditions. During our time in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, we move beyond the tourist routine. I assist with real-time settings on your Canon gear, focusing on shutter speed management for moving subjects and proper ISO usage in low-light forest conditions. We start with a plan to select zones based on recent sighting data and coordinate with your driver to secure angles before the encounter begins. Each day concludes with a 1-2 hour review session where we analyze your output, discuss culling workflows, and perform basic edits in Lightroom or Photoshop.
Fine Art Wildlife Prints
If you prefer to bring the intensity of the wild into your own space, I offer large-format prints from my personal collection. These are not standard photos; they are museum-grade archival prints on cotton rag or premium canvas. Each piece measures 24x36 inches and comes with a solid wood frame and acid-free mat board for depth. Every print is signed, securely packaged, and finished with protective glazing to ensure longevity. Whether it is a tiger portrait or a wide-angle shot of the Tadoba landscape, the materials used are chosen for archival quality.
