Professional Wildlife Photography and Guided Photo Tours
A selection of my finest work from the field. From candid moments in Tadoba to high-quality fine art prints, this collection captures my approach to nature photography.
A bold male tiger confidently crosses the safari track in Tadoba, unfazed by our presence. These are the unpredictable, thrilling moments I help you capture on my guided photography tours, where patience and knowledge of the terrain lead to unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Making direct eye contact with a tiger is a profound experience. This intimate portrait was taken from a safari jeep, using a telephoto lens to capture the intensity in its gaze without disturbing the animal. It is a perfect example of the powerful wildlife art prints available in my collection.
Here, a tigress patrols her territory against the dense bamboo backdrop characteristic of Tadoba. Capturing these natural behaviors requires understanding the animal's routine, a key focus of my wildlife photography workshops.
Even at rest, a tiger is a magnificent sight. I found this one cooling off in the shade during a warm afternoon safari. This candid shot highlights the quiet moments that are just as compelling as the action packed ones.
About Featured
Wildlife photography in Tadoba is as much about patience as it is about gear. During my guided photo tours, we do not rely on luck. We coordinate with drivers to find the right angles, adjust shutter speeds for the unpredictable forest light, and wait for the natural behavior that makes a photograph stand out. If you join a tour, expect 8 to 10 hours of hands-on coaching, from tracking tips to post-processing in the evening.
My Approach to Nature Photography
Nature is untamed, and my photography reflects that. Whether I am shooting in the deep jungles of the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve or preparing a fine art print for your collection, my focus remains on the raw, candid reality of the animal. I do not stage scenes. I capture what is there.
Guided Field Mentorship
I offer 1-on-1 photography mentorship to help you get the shots you will not find in tourist brochures. These sessions are intensive and practical:
- Real-time Instruction: You get 8 to 10 hours of hands-on guidance per day. We cover shutter speed management for moving subjects and ISO settings optimized for low forest light.
- Technical Optimization: I help you set up your gear, specifically Canon R-series and DSLR systems, to ensure you are ready before the tiger enters the frame.
- Tracking and Positioning: We coordinate with drivers to predict animal movement in Tadoba. It is about understanding the terrain and knowing where to position the vehicle for the best possible angle.
- Post-Processing: Every evening, we sit down to review your day's output. I provide a walkthrough of culling workflows and basic editing techniques using Lightroom and Photoshop.
Fine Art Prints
If you prefer to bring the wild into your space, I offer large-format 24x36 inch prints from my portfolio. These are museum-grade archival prints on cotton rag or premium canvas. Each piece is framed in solid wood or an aluminum profile with acid-free mat board and is delivered to you ready to hang. These prints are my way of sharing the quiet, powerful moments I witness on safari with those who cannot be there in person.
