Personal Milestone Photography in Mumbai

These sessions are about the in-between moments. I shoot these with a documentary approach, meaning we do not force poses or rely on complex studio setups. Whether it is at your home or an outdoor spot that means something to you, my goal is to keep things unhurried so the camera feels like it is not even there.

For personal milestones like maternity, newborn, or family portraiture, I intentionally move away from the high-production techniques I use for my commercial work. The focus here is on the connection, not the equipment.

My Documentary Approach

I believe the best images are the ones where you forget I am standing there with a camera. We usually pick a location that feels familiar, like your home or a quiet park. This comfort allows you to interact naturally, letting the light and the moment do the heavy lifting. I use Fujifilm systems for these, which offer a tactile, classic film-like quality that feels timeless rather than dated.

Why I Keep Edits Minimal

You will notice a lot of these portraits are in black and white or have very light color grading. This is a deliberate choice. I do not want to over-process these images because it strips away the humanity of the subject. My goal is to capture the smile, the anticipation, or the quiet joy exactly as it was. When you look back at these ten years from now, they should still look like you.

What to Expect

• Unhurried Pace: These sessions run for 2 to 3 hours. We take our time so no one feels rushed.
• Natural Light: I rarely use artificial lights for these shoots.
• No Heavy Retouching: We keep your skin texture and natural features. Asli (real) pictures hit different.
