Whether you are navigating the early days with a new puppy or want to level up your pet care skills, these guides and tips are here to help you get it right.

A responsible breeder will always encourage you to visit their facility. They should be proud to show you the clean, safe, and nurturing environment where the puppies and their mother are raised.

Puppies should never leave their mother and littermates before 8 weeks of age. This early period is crucial for learning vital social skills, like bite inhibition, that a human cannot teach.

An ethical breeder will have deep knowledge about one or two specific breeds. Be wary of anyone who claims to have many different breeds of puppies available at all times.

A good breeder will interview you as much as you interview them. They should ask you multiple questions to ensure you are prepared to provide a suitable, lifelong home for one of their puppies.

A reputable breeder will willingly answer all your questions about the health and behavioral history of their breed line. They should also be able to provide references from past customers.

Festivals with loud noises like Diwali can be terrifying for dogs. Here are some essential tips for anxious dogs, including desensitizing them to sounds in advance and creating a safe, soundproofed room.

I love collaborating with other professionals to bust common myths about dogs. Here's an announcement for an Instagram Live session I did on the topic of humanizing our dogs. Keep an eye out for future events!

About this collection

Most people think buying a puppy is just about picking the cutest face, but my guides focus on the vetting process you actually need to protect your future pet from long-term health and behavioral issues. Before you search for a breeder, you need to know how to ask the tough questions, because once that puppy is home, the responsibility is yours.

Beyond the Basics: My Educational Approach

I created these resources because I was tired of seeing pets returned by sitters or struggling in homes due to preventable issues. Whether you are a parent trying to keep your dog calm during Diwali or someone wanting to start a career in pet care, my goal is to give you the real, unfiltered facts.

Ethical Breeding and Selection

The images on this page break down the red flags of backyard breeding. It is not just about health records; it is about social skills and environment. I teach you how to interview a breeder as strictly as they should be interviewing you. If you are looking for a pup, use this as a checklist.

Learning With Me

I offer two distinct ways to learn, depending on your goals:

1. Online Home Boarding & Operations Workshop Perfect if you are outside Bangalore or want to start a pet care business. We cover everything from setting up your space to managing dog body language. It is about 2.5 hours a day over a weekend, providing the operational backbone for safe boarding.

2. In-Person Practical Handling (JP Nagar, Bangalore) This is where you get hands-on. We work on leash mechanics, medical administration, and managing real-world scenarios. We keep the batches small to ensure everyone gets to practice handling demo dogs and running emergency drills.

Why I Do This

I believe in teaching the human, not just the dog. By understanding the 'why' behind canine behavior—like why a dog fixates or how to spot early signs of stress—you become a better advocate for your pet. If you are ready to move past quick fixes and build a lasting, respectful relationship with your dog, let's connect.
