Exploring Physics & Electronics for Kids
We trade textbooks for tools. From levitating pencils to laser security systems, we help kids discover the physics and electronics behind the world around them through hands-on building.
A student proudly explains how magnetic repulsion allows his pencil to levitate, even connecting it to the real-world technology of maglev trains in Japan. This is learning that sticks.
Playing with light and shadows in a dark room. We explore the properties of light, including how it travels and how shadows are formed, using simple light sources and objects.
What does sound look like? Students use their handmade tonoscopes to visualize sound vibrations, turning an invisible phenomenon into a visible and exciting experience.
That happy smile says it all. The moment a circuit is completed and the light bulb turns on is a fantastic achievement that builds confidence and a love for electronics.
A student shows off the simple circuit he built. Even with just a few components, he's learning the fundamental principles of electricity and how electronic devices work.
A proud young scientist with his electrolysis experiment. He's learning how electricity can be used to create chemical reactions in a liquid, a key concept in electrochemistry.
It's working! A close-up look at a completed circuit with a buzzer, demonstrating a successful build. This simple test confirms that all the connections are correct.
About this collection
You won't find us staring at diagrams in a dusty book. If your child comes to a session here, they’ll spend the time building actual, working models—like a laser security perimeter or a levitating magnet setup—that they can hold, test, and take home. We keep our batches small, so whether it's understanding why a bulb lights up or how magnetic repulsion works, every child gets the specific help they need to get it right the first time.
Science isn't meant to be read; it's meant to be touched. In our physics and electronics sessions, we move past abstract formulas to show kids how the world actually functions.
Why Build Instead of Read?
When a child builds their own motor or constructs a tonoscope to visualize sound, they aren't just memorizing definitions. They are learning how energy transfers, how currents flow, and why magnetism behaves the way it does. We focus on the 'tinkering' philosophy: giving kids the raw components—wires, batteries, magnets, and sensors—and guiding them as they connect the dots themselves.
What We Cover
- Electronics & Circuits: From simple LED setups to burglar alarms using LDR sensors, we start with the basics of conductivity and voltage so kids understand how the devices in their homes work.
- Magnetism: We go beyond the attraction of north and south poles. Kids explore fields by creating magnetic mazes and levitating models that demonstrate principles similar to real-world technology like maglev trains.
- Light & Sound: Using laser systems to understand optics or tonoscopes to 'see' sound vibrations, we make invisible physical phenomena tangible.
Who This Is For
Whether your child is 7 or 14, we tailor the complexity to their age. We operate out of our center in Basavanagar and travel across Bengaluru for workshops and camps. We believe that if a child can build a circuit that buzzes or a light that turns on, they gain the confidence to explore any technical subject later on. You walk in curious, and you walk out with a working project in your hand.
Fun in Science
We are Fun in Science, and we believe the best way to learn how a circuit works is by building one. We take the abstract ideas from school textbooks and turn them into messy, fun experiments that kids actually get excited about. Whether it’s a weekend workshop or a two-week camp in Basavanagar, our goal is to help your child walk away with a working model and that big 'aha!' moment.
