My Approach
I’m all about locking in that exact vibe you feel during your big moments. Sometimes it’s royal, sometimes it feels like you’re dreaming with your eyes open. Photos should speak for themselves. Like I always say, “Baanadi mooduva kalarava naanu!” (I am the chirping that rises in the sky!). My goal is to turn your event into memories that actually feel alive.
What I Cover
- Weddings and pre-wedding shoots are my main gig. I get into every detail, whether you want classic portraits or candid event portraits that show real emotion.
- Corporate events? I bring a sharp look to all those official moments, making sure the speaker or awardee stands out.
- Kids’ milestone shoots and birthday parties - I love catching that wild joy and energy kids bring to any event.
My Style
I mix things up from dramatic lighting in event photography that pops, to soft, natural setups. My work is always portrait-focused - I want to show people as they really are. Sometimes I’ll say, “Surya kannu hodeda” (The sun winked) - because the light tells half the story.
Every shot goes through my edit process. I’m not about leaving things unfinished.
How It Works
For big events, I’ve got a full team - makeup, styling, whatever it takes. My Bangalore studio is set up for controlled shoots. I’m using professional Nikon photography gear, so the quality stays top.
The Way I Talk
I switch between Kannada and English, depending on what fits. Some feelings just work better in Kannada, you know? At the end, it’s all about getting your story across, not just sticking to one language.

Hey, I'm Vikas. You might spot me as Frames by Vikas Kakolu, Captures by Vikas, or at my studio, Click Vik Studios. All same guy, just different moods. I’m hooked on drama in photos, especially those black and white shots – but sometimes, color just hits different. Studio is my playground, where I go wild with light. I get inspired by artists around me, always chasing that 'My Tigress' energy. Whether you want sunkissed or full-on royal, I’m after your real moment.
