Your art deserves a frame that protects it as much as it shows it off. From delicate botanical sketches to bold modern abstracts, we use museum-grade techniques to ensure your prints remain vibrant for decades.

This botanical illustration is paired with a simple, solid wood frame. The natural grain of the wood complements the organic subject matter, creating a timeless and elegant presentation that feels connected to the art itself.

About Showcase: Fine Art & Illustrations

We do not just put art in a box. For fine art prints, especially in Mumbai’s humid climate, we prioritize proper dry mounting to prevent the paper from waving or warping inside the frame. Whether it is a delicate etching on archival rag paper or a vibrant canvas print, we adjust our mounting techniques to match the substrate, ensuring your piece stays perfectly flat and protected behind museum-grade glass for years.

Our Approach to Fine Art

We view every framing project as a consultation. When you bring an illustration or a fine art print to us, we first look at the paper quality, the ink, and the environment where it will be displayed.

Preservation First Unlike standard framing, we emphasize conservation. This starts with our giclée printing process, which uses 12-color pigment inks on archival-grade papers (like cotton rag or matte). We avoid 'jungli' materials that can off-gas and damage your work over time. Everything is acid-free and lignin-free to ensure your art does not yellow or degrade.

The Right Glazing We often recommend 99% UV museum glass for fine art. This is not just about reducing reflection; it is about blocking the UV rays that cause colors to fade. You will barely notice the glass is there, which is exactly the point—it lets the true colors of your print or illustration stand out without distortion.

Frame Selection We guide you on the best presentation. For modern abstracts on canvas, we often recommend our custom floater frames, which create a subtle gap between the canvas and the frame, giving the piece a clean, gallery-like finish. For classic illustrations, a simple solid wood frame often complements the organic nature of the work without competing with it.

Why Consultation Matters We want to help you make informed decisions. Whether you are an artist preparing for an exhibition or someone framing a cherished family print, we help you pick materials that enhance the artwork rather than fight it. If you have questions about specific mounting options or need a digital preview of how a frame will look, we are here to walk you through the options. Hindi mein bhi baat kar sakte hain, so feel free to ask us anything.
