About A Closer Look at the Details
I mix my own henna using Rajasthani Sojat powder, eucalyptus, and clove oil, which creates the deep stain you see in these photos. This consistency is essential for the crisp, clean lines in my checkerboard fills and floral work, ensuring the design is sharp from the first line to the last.
Why the Details Matter
When I work on a design, I look at the natural flow of your hand and how the pattern wraps around your arm. Whether it is a traditional peacock motif or a modern, negative-space Arabic vine, my goal is to ensure the design feels intentional, not just filled in.
My Natural Henna Process
I believe that a beautiful stain starts with the ingredients. I personally mix my henna using triple-sifted Rajasthani Sojat powder. I add eucalyptus and clove oil to ensure the mix is smooth, which is non-negotiable for drawing the fine, sharp lines seen in my work. Because I prepare this fresh for every client, you will not find any chemical dyes or boosters in my paste.
What to Expect
- Sitting Time: Depending on the density of your chosen design, expect to sit for anywhere from 3 to 8+ hours. I prioritize a steady pace over rushing.
- Placement: I consider the anatomy of your hand and feet to place the heaviest patterns where they will look most balanced and flow seamlessly.
- Aftercare: For every bridal booking, I personally apply a lemon-sugar sealant to lock in the color before you leave, and I will guide you on the best aftercare to ensure the deepest possible stain.
