Timeless Romance and Intimacy in Pre-Wedding Portraits
We skip the stiff poses to capture the quiet, honest connection between you two. These are the portraits that feel like a memory you actually lived.
A moment of pure connection. The soft light, the gentle touch, and the serene expressions on Atul and Rachita's faces make this a classic, romantic portrait. It’s about capturing the feeling of being home with someone.
Black and white photography has a way of stripping away distractions and focusing on pure emotion. This tender kiss on the forehead from Piyush to Sayantani is a perfect example of timeless, heartfelt romance.
Lying in the grass, lost in each other's eyes. This overhead shot of Atul and Rachita is incredibly intimate and romantic. It’s a simple setup that allows their connection to be the entire story.
A close-up black and white portrait showing Sayantani resting peacefully in Piyush's embrace. This image conveys a profound sense of safety, comfort, and trust.
A bold and intimate black and white close-up. The focus on Ishu's face, with Arihant softly in the background, creates a powerful and emotive portrait that feels both strong and vulnerable.
A collage showing two different moods of romance for Akash and Priya. One is a cozy, intimate moment at night, and the other is a classic romantic pose against a beautiful sunset, showcasing versatility in capturing love.
Sometimes the story is in the details. This shot focuses on Sayantani's hands, showing her engagement ring and traditional henna, as she embraces Piyush. It’s a beautiful way to symbolize their commitment.
About Timeless Romance & Intimacy
Most couples worry about looking awkward, but that is actually the best place to start. I don’t ask you to perform for the lens. Instead, we create a space where the camera feels invisible, allowing us to catch that genuine look of ibadat (devotion) you share when you think no one is watching.
Beyond the Pose
Photography is often defined by what is staged, but my work starts where the staging ends. Whether we are shooting in the quiet forests of Siliguri, the heritage spots of Delhi, or against the vast backdrop of a Rajasthan desert, the goal remains the same: to find the story in the silence.
Why Black and White?
You will notice many of these portraits are in black and white. This is a deliberate choice to strip away the distractions of color and texture, forcing the eye to focus entirely on the subject. It highlights the depth of a look, the tension in a hold, and the intimacy of a shared moment. It makes the feeling permanent.
The Process
We start with a mood board discussion. This is not just about choosing outfits or locations, but about understanding your dynamic. Do you prefer quiet, cozy moments by a fire, or are you the couple that wants to run through open roads? By aligning on this before the day begins, you feel less like you are on a set and more like you are just spending time together.
Your Visual Legacy
These images are not just for your Instagram feed. They are your visual legacy. In ten years, you will not care about the trends or the lighting equipment we used. You will care about how you looked at each other and the way your partner held you. That is what I chase in every frame.
