Candid Wedding Photography That Captures Real Emotion
I don't look for poses. I look for the split-second smiles, quiet tears, and raw energy that make your wedding day yours. Let's capture your real story.
As the bride walks out, her mother is overcome with emotion in the background. These are the split-second, layered moments I look for, telling multiple stories in a single frame.
The father-daughter dance is always a special moment. The joy on their faces as they dance, surrounded by laughing family, is what makes a wedding so memorable.
The vidaai, or farewell. A daughter's emotional embrace with her father is one of the most powerful moments of a wedding day. I capture these raw, heartfelt goodbyes with sensitivity.
A tender moment between a bride and her mother before the ceremony begins. These quiet, emotional connections are the heart and soul of a wedding day.
The bride holds a portrait of her beloved parents who are no longer with her. It's a privilege to capture these deeply personal moments of remembrance and love.
The bride's first look with her entire family. The love and blessings being showered upon her are palpable in this joyous, chaotic, and beautiful moment.
A father's proud and loving gaze as he sees his daughter, the bride, for the first time. These first look moments are always incredibly special.
That priceless look on a father's face when he sees his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time. A truly emotional and unscripted moment.
A touching gesture as a father kisses his daughter's hand, a sign of his blessing and love. This black and white photo captures the emotion of the moment beautifully.
A candid, black and white shot of a bride sharing a happy, emotional moment with her father. The connection between them is clear and beautiful.
About Real Moments, Real Emotions
You don't need to worry about awkward posing or stiff smiles. My approach is to blend in, which means you can just be yourself. While I am there to capture the big events, my favourite photos are always the quiet, unscripted ones, like your mom tearing up during the ceremony or a candid laugh you share with your sibling. If you are nervous about being in front of a camera, just remember: arre ho jayega sab, we will have fun and the rest will naturally fall into place.
My photography is rooted in the documentary style. I am not going to shout instructions or ask you to hold a fake pose for ten minutes. I believe the magic of a wedding lives in the moments you do not plan, like the nervous excitement before the ceremony or the chaotic joy of your friends dancing at the reception.
I have spent years honing my eye to read a room. Whether I am shooting a traditional Marathi wedding in Mumbai or a destination celebration in Goa, I am always watching for the interaction between people. I look for the way a father glances at his daughter, the tearful hug between friends, or the pure relief after the vows are exchanged. These are the details that carry the true weight of your day.
Because I have experience with diverse traditions, including Catholic, Hindu, and Jewish ceremonies, I understand the rhythm of your day. I know when the significant rituals happen, so I am positioned to capture them without interrupting the flow. My goal is for you to look back at these photos years from now and remember exactly what you felt, not just what the event looked like. I use a mix of natural light and creative angles to create cinematic images, but the focus remains on the raw, authentic connection between you and your loved ones.
