When I shoot products like these floral candles, I don't just focus on the item. I work on light-layering—using soft, diffused studio light to pick up the fine wax details while balancing it with props like pearls or silk ribbons to ground the mood. It’s about creating an atmosphere where the product feels like part of a lived-in, beautiful space.
Whether you’re launching a new candle line or selling artisanal home decor, the difference between a scroll-past and a sale is usually the visual hook. I treat non-food products with the same narrative approach as food photography—it’s about finding the personality of the object.
My process is collaborative and detail-oriented. We’ll start by defining your brand’s specific vibe. Is it dark and moody for an evening scent, or bright and airy for a fresh linen range?
