Pottery shoots are intentionally messy, and that is exactly why they work. Activity-based pre-wedding sessions are my favorite way to break the ice. If you are feeling camera-shy, a pottery date provides a natural distraction that keeps your hands busy and your focus on each other rather than the lens. This approach captures genuine, candid interactions—the way you look at each other while helping with the clay or the shared laughter when a pot goes slightly crooked.

While I am based in Bangalore and know plenty of studios perfect for these intimate, creative sessions, I love to travel. If you have a specific location in mind—a family home, a favorite pottery studio, or even a destination spot—I am happy to pack my bags. The goal is always to create a cinematic record of who you are right now, as a couple, before the wedding festivities begin.
