About Handcrafted Floral Shelas (Chunari)
Each shela takes hours of intricate weaving by our team and weighs roughly 1.5 kg, so we balance it carefully to ensure it stays stable on your head during the wedding procession. If you are planning a destination wedding or an international event, I highly recommend our artificial resin replicas that mimic fresh Tuberose perfectly without the worry of wilting in transit.
Our signature floral shela is a labor of love, crafted using traditional Indian floral weaving techniques. We primarily use fresh Tuberose (Tagar) buds for their fragrance and classic appeal, but we have perfected a realistic artificial version that has become a favorite for international clients and destination weddings.
The Craft Behind Your Shela
Every piece is made from scratch. We don't use machinery; instead, we rely on the steady hands of our artisans to create the 'jaali' (net) pattern. Because the fresh variants use 1.5 kg of flowers, we treat them with specialized hydration techniques to ensure they stay fresh throughout your ceremony. For the artificial variants, we use high-grade resin buds that maintain their shape and color, allowing you to keep them as a memento long after the wedding.
Customization & Styling
Your shela should match your outfit perfectly. We offer custom borders using:
- Fresh rose petals
- Cockscomb (Velvet flowers) for a vibrant touch
- Fabric embroidery and gota patti for a fusion look
Whether you need a specific pastel shade to match your lehenga or are looking for a standard white-and-green aesthetic, we work with you to finalize the design. We also provide secure, temperature-controlled packaging for fresh deliveries across India, and rigid keepsake boxes for our artificial range shipped globally.
