Traditional & Sustainable Wedding Ceremonies
Where heritage meets conscious design. We create ceremony spaces using organic materials like banana plants and terracotta to ensure your wedding is as kind to the earth as it is beautiful.
The 'Kalpavṛkṣa' or wish-fulfilling tree mandap, a concept we brought to life for a spiritual ceremony. The canopy is made of thousands of hand-strung tuberose and marigold garlands, creating a divine covering.

About Traditional & Sustainable Ceremonies
We do not believe in plastic-heavy backdrops that end up in landfills. For our traditional setups, we source fresh banana plants and terracotta from local artisans, pairing them with the timeless scent of tuberose and marigold. When you choose a sustainable ceremony with us, you are getting decor that feels grounded, authentic, and completely in tune with the natural surroundings of your venue.
Our Approach to Conscious Ceremonies
Since 1972, we have believed that a wedding should be a reflection of values as much as aesthetics. Our sustainable ceremonies focus on reducing environmental impact without compromising on the visual grandeur of an Indian wedding.
Materiality and Craft
We avoid synthetic fabrics and plastic structures wherever possible. Instead, we work with:
- Organic Elements: Fresh banana stems and local foliage to create lush, structural archways.
- Traditional Ceramics: We utilize terracotta vases and brass oil lamps (diyas) that are reusable, adding a tactile, earthy richness to the mandap.
- Floral Integrity: We prioritize local, seasonal blooms like tuberoses and marigolds, which not only have a lower carbon footprint but carry a nostalgic, sacred fragrance central to traditional ceremonies.
The Kalpavṛkṣa Concept
One of our signature designs is the Kalpavṛkṣa mandap—the wish-fulfilling tree. This is not just a visual focal point; it is a labor-intensive installation. The trunk is constructed from gathered twigs and adorned with brass temple bells, which create a subtle, musical chime in the wind. This adds an auditory layer to the ceremony that synthetic decor simply cannot replicate.
Venue Adaptability
Whether you are hosting a ceremony at a luxury hotel like Taj Lands End in Mumbai or a private outdoor garden in Alibag, we adapt our designs to the geography. If the venue has natural beauty, we enhance it with floating canopies and raised aisles, ensuring the decor complements rather than hides the setting.
