About this collection
In our bridal and reception makeup sessions, we move beyond basic application to focus on structural longevity. Whether it is a humid outdoor wedding or an indoor reception, I teach you to master waterproof base techniques and contouring that stays consistent under high-intensity photography lights. You will practice the precise art of setting regional accessories, like the Maharashtrian nath or Bengali mukut, ensuring they remain secure throughout the event.
Bridal makeup requires more than just product knowledge; it requires an understanding of skin undertones and event-specific requirements. My courses are designed to transition you from basic skills to professional artistry. We start with deep-dive skin theory, where you learn to analyze undertones and select the right foundation for full-coverage, waterproof results.
For regional looks, we focus on authenticity. You will learn to execute the classic Maharashtrian bridal look, including the specific crescent bindi and nath placement, alongside the intricate eye and skin styling required for Bengali or reception-ready glamour. For evening events, we dedicate specific modules to eye artistry, teaching you to execute halo eyes, cut-crease techniques, and bold lips that photograph well.
I believe in practical application. Our sessions are conducted in small batches of 3 to 6 students, allowing for direct oversight as you work on mannequins and live models. Beyond the makeup, I teach you the salon operations side of the job: how to manage client trials, how to maintain your kit for hygiene, and how to use simple lighting to build a professional portfolio. You leave the academy with the technical ability to handle a bride from start to finish.
