About The Backyard: Intimate Garden Celebrations
What makes The Backyard work for micro-events is that it’s ready to go. You get exclusive use of the lawn, a pre-set sound system, and two air-conditioned cottages—giving you a dedicated space to prep, rest, or host your ceremony without scrambling for external infrastructure.
Why Choose The Backyard for Your Celebration
When we designed this space, we wanted to offer something that felt like a breath of fresh air in the middle of city life. The Backyard is specifically scaled for intimate gatherings of up to 90 people. Because it is separate from our main Farmhouse Collective venue, your event feels private and contained, which is often the biggest challenge when hosting smaller ceremonies like a Haldi, Mehendi, or a close-knit engagement.
Everything Is Included
One of the most frequent questions we get is about infrastructure. You don't have to worry about the basics here. We provide:
- Stay: Two air-conditioned cottages on-site for changing, resting, or bridal prep.
- Tech: An in-house sound system and microphones so you can start your music immediately.
- Logistics: A dedicated service kitchen for your caterers and private parking slots for 30 to 35 cars.
- Weather Security: A covered dining structure that helps keep your guests comfortable, regardless of the afternoon sun or light rain.
A Pet-Friendly Venue
We know that furry family members are often the highlight of any celebration. Our grounds are entirely pet-friendly. If you want your dog to be part of your ceremony, they are more than welcome to roam, play, and pose for photos with you.
Booking and Logistics
Located at Budigere Cross, the venue is easily accessible, yet it feels worlds away from the noise of Old Madras Road. Because we focus on quality and maintaining our green spaces, all site visits are by appointment only. We recommend coming by to walk the stone aisle and see the lawn setup before you finalize your plans.
