About this collection
Most beginners struggle with frizz control and volume, especially with our humidity. In my classes, we don't just learn how to pin hair; we learn how to prep it so those soft, red-carpet waves actually last through the entire sangeet without drooping. It's about knowing the right tools and products, not just copying a style you saw on Instagram. Samajh mein aaya?
Hairstyling is an extension of makeup. If the base is perfect but the hair falls flat an hour later, the whole look fails. In my 8-week program, I dedicate significant time to advanced hairstyling because I know that versatility makes a professional artist.
What we cover:
- Foundation & Prep: Before the tongs come out, we focus on texture and prep. You learn how to use sprays and powders to get the right grip, which is essential for Indian hair types.
- Technique Mastery: We move from basic blow-drying to advanced tonging, crimping, and braiding. We focus on 'long-lasting' styles—updos that are secure enough for a traditional ceremony but look effortless.
- Mumbai-Proofing: Dealing with our city's weather is a technical skill. I show you which setting sprays and products prevent the style from melting or losing volume by the end of the night.
- Styling Theory: It is not just about copying pictures. We discuss face shapes and necklines to help you recommend the right hairstyle to your clients.
My approach is hands-on. You will be holding the tools, working with models, and learning to troubleshoot when a style does not behave. Whether you are aiming for that viral 'soft glam' bridal look or a sleek cocktail updo, the goal is for you to walk out with the confidence to handle any request in your chair.
