Your Story in My Backyard
Mumbai has a way of turning a simple walk into a movie scene. I have spent 11 years learning when and where to be in this city to get the best light and the least crowd.
My approach to these city shoots is simple: we walk, we talk, and we move. If you want that iconic 'Queen's Necklace' shot at Marine Drive, we go at midnight. If you want the vibrant chaos of the Dadar flower market, we go early morning when the fresh stock arrives. We don't need expensive sets when the city provides the texture, the history, and the grit.
Practical Details
- Timing is Everything: I plan these shoots around the light and the crowd. We will start early or stay late to make sure you aren't overwhelmed by the city noise.
- Outfit Logistics: We typically pick 2-3 locations within Mumbai city limits. I guide you on wardrobe choices that contrast well with the architecture—think solid colors against the vintage stone of the Asiatic Society or the chaotic colors of the flower market.
- The 'Raw' Factor: You will see some 'hu gayo chhu' (I am tired) energy at the end of the day, but that is usually when the best, most candid photos happen. That is when you stop posing and start just being with each other.
