Jollygunj, Bangalore: A Calcutta Story
This is a deep dive into a bar I designed to celebrate the joyful spirit of Calcutta. The project features a multi-level layout with a grand central bar, arched windows, and a massive mural, all designed to create a space that feels rich with history and stories. I focused on mixing raw, textured walls with dark wood and custom lighting to evoke a sense of timeless, old-world charm.
Ventura Gallery, Hyderabad: A Curated Retail Experience
For this high-end furniture gallery, I designed a series of 'mini-home' vignettes to create an eclectic yet homely atmosphere. The design is built around a central courtyard, curved walls, and an exposed ceiling, using a subdued neutral palette to allow the curated furniture from fine European brands to be the hero.
GAIA, Chennai: A Tropical House of Shadows
This residential project in Chennai was designed as a minimal, monochromatic home with a central tropical courtyard. The design focuses on the interplay of light and shadow, using natural materials like stone and wood, and integrating the lush landscape to create a serene and earthy sanctuary.
Conceptual Installations & Pop-Ups
I thrive on creating temporary, high-impact spaces that tell a story. This includes artistic installations designed to provoke the senses and pop-up bars for leading brands. These projects allow me to push creative boundaries and explore new materials and ideas.
Exhibition & Curation Design
Beyond permanent interiors, I also specialize in curating and designing exhibitions. This involves selecting meaningful objects and creating a narrative-driven environment that invites visitors to connect with the stories behind the pieces.
