About Additional Work
You see me on stage with the mic, but the real work happens before the event even starts. Whether I am prepping a custom script for a family sangeet or syncing beat drops with a DJ for a club gig, I spend significant time on technical dry runs to ensure the flow is seamless when the crowd energy hits its peak.
Being a host is about more than just reading off a paper. My background as a hip-hop artist and performer informs every aspect of my work. When I am on stage, I am not just a moderator, I am a hype-man who reads the room and adjusts the tempo accordingly.
My approach to event hosting relies on a few core principles:
- Bilingual Flow: I switch between Hindi and English naturally, ensuring that whether it is an elderly relative at a wedding or a corporate guest at an expo, everyone feels included in the conversation.
- Technical Sync: My experience hosting club nights and festivals has taught me the importance of DJ coordination. I make sure my verbal cues land exactly with the bass drops to keep the momentum high.
- Crisis Handling: Technology glitches happen at live events. My job is to bridge those gaps with wit or audience interaction so the show never loses its rhythm.
