Whispering Willows Royal White Wedding Decor
Where minimalism meets Mughal grandeur. This all-white wedding design at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai reimagines luxury through ivory tones, delicate pearl detailing, and classic Jharokha motifs.
The magnificent ballroom transformed into a serene palace. The stage, with its ivory and gold jharokhas, stands as the focal point, perfectly complemented by the room's grand architecture.

The epitome of bespoke luxury. This stunning peacock centerpiece, crafted from hundreds of hand-placed pearls and fresh white roses, graced the dining tables and became a signature element of the wedding.

Guests were greeted with this elegant welcome sign, featuring a mirrored arch and surrounded by white tuberoses and fresh greenery. It set a tone of refined celebration from the very first moment.

About this collection
For this project, we moved away from standard floral arrangements to create a signature piece: a life-sized peacock centerpiece crafted from hundreds of hand-placed pearls. It captures the essence of this theme, where true luxury lies not in the size of the installation, but in the intentionality of the smallest details.
White is a difficult color to work with because it demands perfection in texture and lighting. To achieve this look at the Grand Hyatt, I focused on layering different materials to create depth rather than relying on color. We built custom ivory Jharokhas—inspired by Mughal architecture—as the stage backdrop, which provided a solid, regal foundation for the more delicate elements like cascading fresh roses and baby’s breath.
The lighting was key. We steered clear of harsh whites, choosing instead to bathe the room in a gentle, warm glow that made the gold accents on the table settings and the pearl-encrusted centerpieces shimmer. This approach allows guests to focus on the textures: the soft velvet of the lounge seating, the crispness of the linens, and the intricate patterns of the lotus motifs we hand-painted into the design. It is a reminder that when you strip away the noise of multi-color themes, you are left with a space that feels calm, poetic, and timelessly romantic.
