Explore Our Purpose-Based Learning at Ekya Nava
At Ekya Nava, we believe education is about more than textbooks. We invite you to explore our purpose-based learning approach, where every child’s natural curiosity is nurtured to solve real-world problems.
Can the classroom spark the next big innovation? At Ekya Nava, our innovative curriculum and unique pathways make it possible.
We cultivate a mindset that turns curiosity into real-world solutions, preparing students for an extraordinary future.
Ever wondered if school projects could change the world? We believe they can, and we empower our students to make a tangible difference.
A look back at 2024, a year where imagination took flight, ideas came to life, and learning went beyond the classroom.
Why do airplanes have wings like birds? Every question is a doorway to discovery, connecting science, nature, and innovation.
Even the smallest or silliest questions are filled with curiosity. We nurture that wonder, because every "why" leads to learning.
It's all about flying. While airplanes were inspired by birds, their wings work differently. We help students explore these fascinating connections.

About More from Ekya Nava
Our approach centers on the 'Learn-Think-Do' methodology, where students move quickly from abstract concepts to hands-on creation in our Makery and Atelier. Whether they are exploring Singapore Math with physical manipulatives or testing physics with custom-built filtration devices, students here build, test, and refine ideas until they understand the 'why' behind the science. This isn't just theory—it is a practical application of concepts that turns students into proactive problem-solvers.
At our Panathur campus, we focus on helping students connect classroom concepts to real-world challenges. Our Cambridge IGCSE-aligned curriculum for Grades 1–8 is structured around inquiry, allowing children to ask, analyze, and find connections across subjects. Instead of rote memorization, we emphasize the 'Learn-Think-Do' cycle, where the classroom acts as a laboratory for ideas.
Our facilities are designed to support this. The Makery is equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, and robotics kits, providing students with the tools to translate their ideas into tangible projects. Meanwhile, the Atelier offers a dedicated space for industrial design and fine arts, where students learn to approach problems with empathy and creativity.
We understand that a child’s environment extends beyond school walls. That is why we integrate parents into our educational ecosystem. Through our 'Friends of Ekya' program, family-centric workshops, and parent-child treks, we foster a community where families learn and grow together. We also organize outbound adventures that take students out of the classroom, helping them connect with the world and discover their own capabilities in real-life settings.
We offer dedicated learning pathways, including Innovation & Entrepreneurship and IT & Society, giving students the freedom to dive into the fields that interest them most. Our Early Years Montessori program focuses on Practical Life and sensorial learning using traditional wooden apparatus, laying a solid foundation before students transition to our IGCSE-aligned tracks. Whether your child is just beginning their educational journey or advancing through middle school, our focus remains the same: preparing them to think critically, create with purpose, and act with responsibility.
Ekya Nava
I believe that schooling should mirror the world our children will inherit, not the one we left behind. My team and I have built a space in Panathur where families are equal partners in the journey, growing and learning together through workshops and shared experiences.
