Hardware & Core Components
- PV Modules (Panels): Tier-1 Mono-Crystalline PERC Half-Cut Cell modules (540Wp - 550Wp range). Brands typically include Waaree, Adani, or Vikram Solar. 25-year performance warranty.
- Solar Inverter: High-efficiency On-Grid String Inverter (IP65 rated for outdoor use) with remote monitoring (WiFi/Dongle).
- Mounting Structure: Hot Dipped Galvanized Iron (HDGI) structure, elevated to 5-8 feet to ensure roof utility is not lost. Designed to withstand wind speeds of 150 km/ph.
- Civil Foundation: Pre-cast concrete blocks or grouted civil pedestals (PCC) to anchor the structure without puncturing/damaging the roof waterproofing.
Balance of System (BoS)
- Cabling: UV-resistant DC solar cables (4 sq mm or 6 sq mm) and AC cables for grid connection.
- Safety Protection: DC Distribution Box (DCDB) and AC Distribution Box (ACDB) with MCBs and Surge Protection Devices (SPD).
- Earthing & Lightning: Maintenance-free chemical earthing pits (separate for DC, AC, and Lightning Arrestor) and copper lightning arrestor rod.
