About The Handcasting Process
I don't just hand you a product, I bring the entire studio setup to your event. We use skin-safe chromatic alginate that sets in about 15 minutes, meaning you do not have to miss your party to get the cast done. Whether it is a wedding or a small family gathering in Bangalore, I make sure the whole process is clean, quick, and interactive.
How the Casting Works
It is a simple process. I arrive at your venue in Bangalore, Mysore, or Chennai with everything needed. You dip your hands into our skin-safe casting mix, hold the pose for a few minutes, and that is it. I take care of the rest on-site.
What to Expect
- Preparation: I bring high-quality chromatic alginate. It is completely safe and feels cool on the skin.
- The Session: For a couple, we usually finish molding in about 15 to 20 minutes. If you are doing a family cast with up to 4 hands, we might take 30 to 40 minutes to get the positioning perfect.
- Turnaround: Because we use quick-drying casting stone, simple impressions can often be handed over on the same day. For more complex, mounted pieces, I handle the reinforcement and varnish top-coat to ensure they last.
Practical Details
I handle all the mess so you do not have to worry about cleaning up at your venue. The casting mix is gentle, so it will not irritate your skin, even if you have intricate mehendi or jewellery on. While super complex poses might not capture every fine detail, a simple hand-hold between a couple or a family stack comes out incredibly clear and lifelike.
