About Facility Upgrades
We are actively replacing our older wooden floors with BWF-style green synthetic mats across our facilities. This shift is purely practical: the synthetic surface provides superior shock absorption, which helps protect your knees during long matches and offers a much more predictable bounce than traditional wooden bases.
Why We Are Switching to Synthetic
Badminton is a high-impact sport. If you play regularly, you know that a surface with the wrong amount of friction or hardness can lead to long-term joint pain. We decided to upgrade to these green synthetic mats because they offer the right balance of grip and cushion. This makes a massive difference whether you are practicing intense footwork or playing a long doubles match.
Court Specifications
Every upgraded court at our Pitampura and Janakpuri locations features:
- Surface: Professional green synthetic mat laid over a suspended wooden base for maximum shock absorption.
- Lighting: High-ceiling (25+ ft) indoor halls equipped with industrial-grade overhead LED floodlights to ensure zero shadow interference.
- Environment: Non-AC halls with wall-mounted fans for ventilation.
Playing Rules
To keep these surfaces in good condition, we have a strict policy on footwear. Only non-marking badminton shoes are allowed on the synthetic mats. If you arrive in outdoor shoes, we will not be able to let you on the court. Please remember to bring your own rackets and shuttlecocks, as these are not included in the rental.
Whether you are booking a one-off hourly slot or you are a monthly member, you will have full access to these new surfaces. We recommend booking in advance, as these upgraded courts are the first to fill up during evening hours.
