Our Roots and Purpose
Cricket at Dronacharya Cricket Academy is more than just sport - it’s part of who we are. My father, Shri Gurcharan Singh (Padma Shri, Dronacharya Awardee), set the tone here: aim high, work hard, and stay real. Aisa nahi hai ki hum sirf commercial hai (It’s not like we’re just in it for money) - we’re all about building real players, not just numbers.

If you’re after quick evening sessions, this isn’t for you. Our residential cricket program is a full-time cricket academy where you move in, live on-site, and breathe cricket every day. It’s intense, year-round, and only for those ready to seriously chase professional cricket.

How We Build Complete Cricketers
We’re obsessed with honing technique - whether it’s your front-foot defense or tackling side-arm bowlers. But we go further: our mental conditioning workshops, scientific fitness scans, and hands-on nutrition planning mean you get the full package. No shortcuts.
Coaching, Mentorship, and Facilities
Our coaches are invested in every player - Jo coaches ne time diya hai, jo bachon ko sikhaya hai, that is our pride (What our coaches teach, the time they give, that’s our pride). You’ll train with senior Ranji players and sometimes legends. Facilities include a secure hostel, green turf wickets, upgraded nets, and floodlights so practice never stops.
Getting You Out There
We’re not just about training; we connect you to DDCA club matches, major tournaments, and play against visiting international teams. This pathway to professional cricket is what sets us apart.

My Story
We started way back in 2000, but really, it’s all about our founder, Shri Gurcharan Singh Ji. Padma Shri, Dronacharya Award – he’s cricket for us. Even now, at 90, Singh Sir is right here, rain ho ya dhoop (rain or sun), guiding kids. We’ve got players from everywhere – Pune, Singapore, Canada. Parents say, 'Yahan sirf cricket hota hai, business nahi' (here it’s just cricket, not business). When a 9-year-old gives her all, when a boy improves in a month, bas, humein garv hota hai (we feel proud). We teach life, not just cricket.
My Work
Cricket Coaching for Everyone - We coach all ages and skill levels, with personalized cricket coaching, girls cricket training, and private sessions.
Hostel Facility - Outstation players can stay at our cricket hostel facility, so they don’t miss out.
Holistic Development - We run sports psychology workshops, nutrition sessions, and focus on building character, not just skills.
Match Experience - Players get real match simulation sessions with DDCA club links for actual league exposure.
Open Nets for All - Anyone with passion is welcome – from Ranji trophy players to 9-year-olds with big dreams.
