About Candid Moments & Details
I don't believe in staging or forcing smiles because your genuine reactions are what make the photos matter. I use high-end mirrorless equipment to stay unobtrusive, capturing low-light indoor shots at venues like Gallops or bright, chaotic outdoor Haldi moments without ever needing to interrupt the flow of your rituals with heavy lighting setups.
Beyond the Poses
When I'm shooting, I’m looking for the narrative between the events. It’s the way a bride fixes her saree before the Nikaah, the groom’s nervous glance right before the Baraat, or the collective relief after the final ceremony. My approach to candid wedding photography is about letting the day breathe. I respect the rituals, whether it is a Maharashtrian ceremony, a Sikh Anand Karaj, or a traditional Muslim wedding, and I know exactly when to step in and when to stay back.
Capturing the Details
Details often get lost in the noise, but they anchor your memories. I dedicate time to photographing the texture of your lehenga, the way the light hits your jewellery, or the specific table setting at your reception. These frames don't just fill up an album; they set the scene for the story of your wedding.
My Technical Approach
I shoot with a documentary mindset. My kit is built around mobility—mirrorless bodies and fast prime lenses that perform in changing light. This allows me to move quickly from a dark reception hall to a sunny garden without missing a beat. I also focus on consistent colour grading, ensuring that your final images have a timeless, cinematic look that feels as real twenty years from now as it does today. If you are planning a destination wedding in places like Goa or the hills of Himachal, I am fully equipped to handle travel and diverse shooting conditions, ensuring your gallery stays consistent regardless of the location.
